The PROFI machines grind the base: B belt, S stone, 4 combined. The DTS-U II Race, KSM and KFM-U work the edges: the DTS-U II Race sharpens all four edges in one pass, the KSM is the belt edge sharpener, the KFM-U polishes the base edge and combines with the KSM according to its sheet.
A complete workshop therefore combines a grinder and an edge sharpener, possibly in a robot. See also the Reichmann page.
