Founded in 1927 around the manufacture of weaving looms, CHATEX SA specialised in equipment for mountain and sports professionals in 1985. Since then, we have supported resorts, sports shops, rental businesses and ski workshops in the repair, maintenance and preparation of skis and snowboards, the fit-out of their retail spaces, and the supply of consumables and tooling. A standard of excellence passed down through generations, today carried forward by Pierre Chatanay, PDG.

Exclusive Reichmann distributor in France, we offer a catalogue of 500+ references across five areas: machines, fit-out, consumables & tooling, waxing, and hygiene & maintenance. From the edge-tuning tunnel to the base maintenance machine, from shop shelving to competition wax, every product is selected for its reliability and performance in the workshop as well as in store. 100% B2B activity: the entire catalogue is available on request.

Our head office is located in Lentilly (69210), in the Rhône region, and our showroom albertville welcomes professionals in Albertville (73200), at the heart of the Alps and Savoie. Technical advice, machine demonstrations and support for fit-out projects: we stay as close as possible to the ground on the alpine terrain.
