Terms and conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between CHATEX SA (hereinafter "CHATEX" or "the Seller") and any professional customer (hereinafter "the Customer") in connection with the sale of machines, fit-outs, consumables and tooling. As CHATEX operates exclusively on a B2B basis, all services and supplies are offered on request, whether the enquiry is made by phone, by email, via a quote request form, or through the website www.chatex.fr.

Article 1. Catalogues, studies and quotes

Catalogues, studies and quotes drawn up by CHATEX are based on the information provided by the Customer. They may not be disclosed to third parties and remain the property of CHATEX.

Article 2. Sales

Orders are accepted only after confirmation by CHATEX's Management. Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.

Article 3. Deliveries

Delivery times are given for guidance only. Any complaint relating to a delivery must be made within 8 days of receipt of the goods.

Article 4. Prices

Prices are subject to revision before any order confirmation. Prices shown are for guidance only; only the quote confirmed by CHATEX is binding.

Article 5. Retention of title

The goods remain the property of CHATEX until full payment of their price by the Customer.

Article 6. Payments

Payments are made cash on delivery. In the event of late payment, a penalty clause of 15% of the amount due will be applied.

Article 7. Warranties

New equipment is warranted for 1 year. Electronic components are warranted for 6 months. Second-hand equipment is warranted for 3 months.

Article 8. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, only the courts of CHATEX's head office have jurisdiction.
